Chevy Chase Farmer’s Market

At the corner of Euclid and High Street (or is it Tates Creek Road at that point?…) on Sundays from 10-2 is the Chevy Chase Farmer’s Market. These neighborhood markets are popping up everywhere making locally grown produce within reach for most people of Lexington at least one day a week.

The market is set up in the parking lot of Corner Wine. There is just enough room for a few sellers but this is plenty as they have all the usual items that one would be looking for. You would need to go to Southland to get the large variety but then you have to battle the traffic, parking, dogs, people, and strollers. If all you need is a few of the regular items, this is your stop.

I know where my bird is coming from (both in that I know where I'm getting it AND I know where it is grown)!

Always nice to have this for a reference when planning food budget for the month.
