I love car shows. I seek them out and happily Lexington seems to have people gathering to show off their rides every weekend. This weekend is Keeneland’s Concours d’Elegance. Over a four-day period, classic cars and new cars gather in Lexington to show off their beauty.

Belleau Woods Park

What a lovely find!

Follow the twisting streets of the Belleau Woods neighborhood to be introduced to an 18-acre swath of greenspace and play areas. Belleau Woods Park has all of the necessities of a great space for Lexingtonians to utilize but the park was nearly empty when we got there. Cheddar’s – you know, for kids!

It’s a Thursday night, 5:30 and I’ve got to get my toddler new shoes for school for Friday. If you’ve ever experienced shoe shopping with a toddler, you know that it can take more time than expected. We were pushing dinnertime and decided to stop somewhere out instead of rushing home to get something on the table. We’ve had good luck at Cheddar’s so we thought we’d try that again.

Children’s Garden Closed When School Is Out

The Children’s Garden at the University of Kentucky Arboretum is missing some prime opportunities being closed when school is out for Election Day. It’s bad enough that we have to pay to go into the area but to be closed when school is out?!
